SEC-T 2009 News and Updates
Thank you for making SEC-T 09 happen!
The organizers would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that made SEC-T 2009 possible. Thanks to the amazing speakers for making this years SEC-T the best one so far by coming to Sweden to speak without any monetary compensation. We would also like to thank our sponsors for making this event possible. Last but not least we would like to thank our amazing and motivated attendees for making this a memorable event by participating in discussions and events.
We hope to see all of you again in 2010...
Challenge winner
The winner of the winner of the SEC-T Challenge 2009 and the happy winner of a conference pass to www.t2.fi in Helsinki including flights and hotel is Jonas Vestberg. Jonas was the first to successfully crack level two of the challenge. We want to thank the organizers of T2 for donating the conference pass as part of the prize.

Thursday: conference pub and dinner
On Thursday we will continue our conversations and security talk over at elverket. For those who want to have dinner there we have made a little menu to choose from
Grilled tuna with Caesar salad and Parmesan 145 SEK
Steak and salad, A grilled steak, sallad and fries 145 SEK
Vegan/Vegetarian, Bulgur salad with roasted prime veggies and large olives. 99 SEK
If you would like to have food please drop a mail to register@sec-t.org. So that the poor chef will know how many portions to prepare. Otherwise you might end up waiting for food for quite a bit.
T-shirts and challenge hints
We will be selling T-shirts. They will be awesome. You will buy one.

The SEC-T Challenge finally published
Due to the success of last years challenge we have now posted a pre con challenge. So get hacking you hardware and software wizkidz because this year we have outdone ourselves in wickedness. Level 1 of the challenge is now online.
SEC-T normal registration closes 1st of September
The normal registration procedure with the normal price of 250€ will end on the first of september. So register and pay online now! It will still be possible to register late but the fee will be 350€. It will be possible to pay and register even at the door at the late registration rate. But for people who register really late we can not guarantee the same quality of food.
Known payment problems
If you have any trouble with the online payment with certain cards or if are trying to register several people from the same company with one card, please contact register@sec-t.org immediately and we will help you solve the problem or issue a invoice.
SEC-T Official Conference Bar disclosed
Following up on last years success with the official conference pub we have now booked a larger and more comfortable venue for the night activities. The venue is called Elverket and is a modern bar / restaurant with great seating options for larger groups. The restaurant is located just 150 meters from the conference facilities and serves a large selection of Swedish and international dishes of really high standard at moderate prices.
Preliminary agenda posted
The final speaker list has been confirmed and while we are sad to say Leonardo Nve Egea won't make it we are please his collegue Ramón Pinuaga will take his place. We are also very happy to welcome Collin Mulliner and his talk about fuzzing SMS/MMS features in smart phones.

Speaker line-up changes
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, David Batanero will be unable to make it to SEC-T and we have been forced to cancel his talk. To make up for this we have three new speakers confirmed, Travis Goodpeed, Jacob Appelbaum and John Pirc
